Stop Hunger Now—Philippines


This Executive Director will establish and coordinate the emerging Stop Hunger Now Program in the Philippines.  Primary functions of this position will include providing direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s mission, philosophy, goals, objectives and strategies; providing day-to-day operational leadership and direction to the organization, focusing on the daily operations, fundraising, financial and administrative management; supporting the Board of Directors in fulfilling its governance function; and promoting and establishing the organization throughout the country.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Board Administration and Support - Supports operations and administration of Board by advising and informing Board members, and interfacing between Board and staff. 
  • Program, Product and Service Delivery - Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services. 
  • Financial, Tax, Risk and Facilities Management - Recommends annual budget for Board approval and prudently manage organization’s resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws, regulation, and ethical standards of practice for non-governmental organizations. 
  • Human Resource Management - Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations. 
  • Community and Public Relations - Assures the organization and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders. 
  • Promotion – Promote Stop Hunger Now throughout Malaysia to Corporate entities, civil and religious groups, government agencies, and educational institutions. 
  • Fundraising - Oversees fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements, researching funding sources, establishing strategies to approach funders, submitting proposals and administrating fundraising records and documentation. 
  • Reporting – Will provide timely and accurate reporting on meal production and distribution, program and organizational growth, programmatic updates, organizational finances, and organizational opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Passion for Stop Hunger Now’s mission, vision and values. 
  • At least 10 years in an operations leadership role, with demonstrated performance.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing a diverse, broad array of people and roles.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and crucial conversation skills.
  • Effective IT skills including experience and comfort with MS Office, Google Apps and SalesForce.com
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
  • Ability and willingness to travel, at least 30% of the time.
  • Clean background check and current passport. 
  • Knowledge of Philippines food safety guidelines preferred.
