Conservation International, an international non-governmental organization, is seeking applicant for the following position to be based in Jakarta:

SLP GRANTS AND CONTRACTS MANAGER

The Sustainable Landscapes Program (SLP) Grants and Contracts Manager is based in Jakarta and reports to the SLP Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) and, in coordination with the CI-Indonesia Operations Director and related CI HQ staff who is responsible for managing sub-awards (grants and contracts) issued under this program. This position will participate in designing, setting up and implementing the sub-awarding system for this program in a manner consistent with CI’s policies and procedures, USAID rules and regulations, the SLP Operations Manual and the program’s objectives. 

The SLP Grants and Contracts Manager is responsible for providing efficient and effective management of the SLP program’s overall grant portfolio, providing quality grant management and supporting the achievement of program outputs and outcomes. This includes assessing capacity building needs related to professional grants management among grantee organizations and facilitating tailored and regular technical capacity building (arranging for such delivery in coordination with technical directors and managers) as needed.
                                                                 
Qualifications:
  • University Degree in Accounting and/or Commerce 
  • Experience managing USAID-funded programs, conversancy with OMB Circulars A-122 and 22CRF226. 
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in contracting and in managing sub-awards 
  • Great attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in Bahasa and English, able to work effectively in either language; 
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office, Database, and file management 
  • Previous experience working in an international organization or donor agency 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a helpful and personable attitude, and evident desire to assist partners. 
  • Ability to build good inter-personal relationships with other staff is necessary, as the Grants  and Contracts Manager must team up with other Jakarta office staff and CI staff globally
