The Role
As part of International Program Department of Australian Red Cross, the Security Advisor is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive security strategy in order to minimise a broad range of safety and security risks to Australian Red Cross, its staff assets and operations. You will provide leadership and direction for staff living, working and travelling internationally. Inherent requirements of this role include some international travel.
About You
The successful candidate should be experienced in leading and facilitating security risk assessments and security audits and recommending mitigation measures, demonst rated diverse experience in the design, facilitation and delivery of a range of training including emergency simulations. You should possess excellent analytical capacity including the ability to improve policies and processes, and to identify pragmatic solutions to complex challenges. You will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, cross-cultural, and written skills. Relevant tertiary qualification and any additional training in security management are essential.
