Yorkshire Wildlife Trust is one of the UK’s fastest growing environmental organisations and seeks to appoint a Regional Manager for the Humberhead Levels and Coalfields area.

The Regional Manager is responsible for a range of exciting frontline community engagement and conservation programmes. These are often externally funded and aim to improve habitats and involve people in nature conservation. The post holder is also required to develop conservation programmes, including project fundraising for some of these programmes. The post holder is also responsible for taking a lead on developing and managing the nature reserves in the region including Potteric Carr, the Trusts flagship reserve.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing projects, programmes and budgets as well as experience of managing a diverse staff team. In addition they will be articulate with a keen eye for detail with good communication skills as well as knowledge and experience of developing community engagement programmes. They will be able to work independently as well as part of a team with a professional and results orientated approach. A full, clean driving license is required as you will often need to travel within the south and west of the region and sites may not be accessible by public transport.
