Oxfam is recruiting Gender Equality Advisor for an upcoming agricultural development project in selected municipalities of Cuba.

Candidates must be fluent in Spanish and will also have:
  • A Master’s degree or higher in a field of study relevant to international development, with a focus on gender equality;
  • At least three years of experience providing advice and services related to gender equality for multi-year development projects in Latin America;
  • Experience in conducting gender analyses;
  • Experience in developing and implementing gender equality strategies;
  • Experience in integrating gender equality considerations in agricultural projects;
  • Experience liaising on gender equality issues with and including participation of multi-stakeholders: government, non-government and private sector;
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team of experts or professionals and ensuring technical quality of work;
  • Experience working in projects with multiple locations;
  • Experience using performance-based management procedures, including results-based management;
  • Experience in Cuba an asset.
This is a part-time position with a term of 4 years, and is contingent on contract award.
