Human Development Forum Foundation Volunteer: Marketing Professional - Bangkok, Thailand

The Human Development Forum Foundation is a dedicated educational and research organization, defined by our motto, “knowledge improves life.” We are a Thailand-based independent, non-governmental foundation without any religious or political affiliations. Our research and training staff come from a diverse background including education, business, development, social work, and defense, among others. With decades of combined academic and real-world experience, we strive to build local capacity, improve the security of our communities, and contribute meaningful knowledge to society through all of our educational and research programs.


We are currently seeking a Thai/English speaking Advertising/Marketing Professional to volunteer as soon as possible. We are looking for an individual that can help us improve our organizational brand and marketing efforts for our training courses and other activities. Specific responsibilities of the volunteer may include:
  • Organizing Social Media/advertising campaigns for our trainings, events, and research products 
  • Advising on brand design and official representation of organization activity 
  • Write web articles and contribute to HDFF's monthly newsletter 
  • Attend conferences on regional security and ASEAN-related topics 
  • Support HDFF's program officers with their general functions
Additionally, the applicant should be fluent in spoken and written English, and should be comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or higher in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field
  • 1-5 years of experience in Marketing or Social Media campaigns
  • Professional knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
How to apply:
We are currently seeking applicants able to commit to a minimum 3-month volunteership. We will consider both full-time and part-time volunteers, with schedule to be decided upon hire. Normal office hours will be Monday - Friday 9:00am - 17:30pm. This volunteership is unpaid, but highly qualified applicants may be offered a small cost of living allowance.
