Job Description:
Working
within the Innovation and Technology Division, the Project Manager /
Scrum Master plays a leadership role in the delivery of successful
medium to large technology solutions that support business growth and
innovation at World Vision Canada. This position leads cross-functional
projects using waterfall / PMI and agile / Scrum project management best
practices, methodology and techniques.
Job Requirements:
- A broad and deep understanding and experience of project management methodology, including executing across PMI / Waterfall, Agile / Scrum / SAFe, and SDLC. (5+ years)
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple digital projects specifically related to Web / e-commerce / IT solutions (5+ years)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts verbally and in writing, levelling communications appropriately to meaningfully inform the target audience. (5+ years)
- Experience in any of the following areas: digital marketing, web applications, e-commerce, CRM, and mobile (4+ years)
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, SCRUM, SAFe, or ITIL (certified or re-certified in last 5 years)
- Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders; mobilize, motivate and lead teams; set direction and approach; resolve conflict; deliver tough messages with grace; execute with limited information and ambiguity (4+ years)
- Motivated individual capable of owning and driving assignments
- Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on project and task completion
- Solid working knowledge of web technologies and digital best practices
- A self-starter with the ability to take initiative and drive a project from initiation to closure
- University or college undergraduate degree in a related field
Beneficial:
- Experience working in a marketing/advertising agency environment
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Experience with Shopify Ecommerce Platform
- Experience implementing and coaching Agile / Scrum / Scaled Agile Framework SAFe in medium-to-large organizations
