Do you have at least 5 years of overseas experience working in a senior programme management role for an international children’s organisation and have a Masters degree in an international development or aid related subject?

You will be responsible for overall operational leadership in Retrak, including delivery and design of high quality and effective programmes for street children and families in Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Kenya, DR Congo and now also in Brazil. You should have had direct operational experience in at least 3-4 of these specific countries. Ability to speak French, Swahili and Amharic will be a definite advantage. Our Child Protection, Safeguarding, and Vulnerable Persons Policies across the organisation are also under your guardianship.

You will be responsible for the development of a new quality service model across all our countries of operation, to ensure compliance of this programme and you will have experience in the delivery of training packages around street children and child protection.

With tenacity, drive and a results-focused approach, you will be committed to driving programmes in line with our strategic priorities and targets and achieving better lives for street children everywhere. As a senior director of a faith-based organisation, you will have responsibility to encourage country teams in the application of their Christian faith.
