About your role
EWB’s Content Producer is our advocacy and communications engine for EWB. The Content Producer will gather information and produce stories about ours and our partners’ programmatic impact, to compellingly communicate these stories to our audiences.

You’ll be responsible for writing impactful website copy, electronic direct mailouts and direct mailouts, directing EWB’s social media presence and producing well-articulated print pieces. With oversight from EWB’s Major Relationships Lead, you’ll ensure all our content is aligned with EWB’s donor and communications narratives, 2020 vision, program strategies and organisational values.

You will work closely with EWB’s creative team (for example, a volunteer photographer, website designer and interns), curate EWB’s existing content database, and develop insightful materials for EWB’s fundraising and campaigns communications. You will also work closely with EWB’s staff, building their capacity to compellingly articulate the impact of their programs, so they produce content that demonstrates the tangible difference EWB and our partners’ work makes.

Your enthusiastic, ‘doer’ attitude is what matters most. You are a communications professional who truly understands the ins and outs of the community sector. You’re passionate about storytelling and are resourceful about how these stories are shared, proactively seeking opportunities to more broadly share EWB’s work through leveraging our messages via our networks and their respective channels.

Your strong writing and oral communication skills will complement your insightful understanding of how to cut through social media ‘noise’ and produce clear, powerful pieces that communicate with strategic intent. You have a well-honed eye for detail and thrive in a dynamic work environment. You manage diverse internal stakeholders with sensitivity and a flair for how to articulately advocate for their work.
