Here’s where you come in:
As National Director – Nicaragua, you will oversee the development and strategy of all country operations. World Vision Nicaragua was founded in 1989 and serves thousands of children, their families and their communities in some 250 communities of Masaya, Granada, Carazo, Chinandega and Managua provinces.

You are a highly accomplished visionary leader who combines proven business disciplines with inspirational management skills to effectively communicate global initiatives, cultivate relationships, and identify opportunities to successfully drive World Vision Nicaragua growth and development.

Requirements include:
  • Graduate degree in communications, public relations, political science, business, or field related to the position.
  • Knowledge and experience with Nicaraguan governmental agencies – preferably related to children’s issues and international collaboration.
  • At least 10 years of work experience overall; 7 years’ experience of relevant experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of the key players and issues impacting child well-being in Nicaragua.
  • Requires ability to work and travel extensively in country as well as internationally (approximately 20-40% of working time).
