Ecoexist Project Job Vacancy: Operations Manager - Okavango Delta, Botswana

Job opportunityOperations Manager

The Ecoexist Project, a conservation & community development NGO, focused on promoting coexistence between people and elephants, is currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager that will assist in the supervision of its field interventions and management of its human resources in the Eastern Panhandle of the Okavango Delta, Botswana.

The position will require the successful candidate to be field based and the candidate will be appointed on a two year contract, with a two month probationary period.

The job will require the following skills and experience:
  • A strong, experienced management background with associated administration skills;
  • Relevant experience in community development work in Africa;
  • Good computer skills, including management system recording and reporting;
  • Good mechanical repair and maintenance knowledge;
  • A full, clean driving licence, and;
  • Good written and spoken English.
