WWF Indonesia Job Vacancy: Project Leader Rimbang Baling - Pekanbaru, Indonesian

WWF-IDN is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Project Leader Rimbang Baling.

This position will be based in Pekanbaru and report to Central Sumatra Program Manager. The goal of WWF Indonesia in central Sumatra covers the maintenance of essential ecosystem and services, establishment and connection of protected areas, and ensuring the viability of key species. WWF establish this position to ensure the effectives of its conservation programs in central Sumatra. The role of the incumbent is to develop and implement conservation projects/programs. This includes coordinating the implementing teams covering various subjects including wildlife monitoring, wildlife protection, human-wildlife conflict mitigation and sustainable development teams.

For the first three years, the incumbent will focus and be responsible in the implementation of The Integrated Tiger Habitat Conservation Program in Rimbang Baling Landscape. The general role of the person selected for position is to ensure overall project management, smooth implementation of all activities, and integration of all components, and close coordination and engagement with all partners to achieve the common goals set in this project. can run well in timely manner

Requirements for This Position are:
  • Bachelor Degree from Biology, Forest Management, and Environmental or Conservation Science, Master Degree are preferred.
  • 8-10 years experiences (for Bachelor Degree), or 5-8 years experiences (for Master Degree), on conservation works/issues with 3 years experiences in managerial level
