Mampu Project Job Vacancy: Senior Procurement and Risk Management Officer - Indonesian

Employment Opportunity – MAMPU Indonesia, Senior Procurement and Risk Management Officer (SPRMO)
The Australia – Indonesia Partnership for Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment (MAMPU) Program is funded by the Government of Australia (GoA) through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
The MAMPU Program aims to improve the access of poor women in Indonesia to essential services and other government programs in order to achieve gender equality and women’s empowerment. MAMPU supports coalitions of civil society organisations (CSO) to collaborate with national and sub-national governments to strengthen women’s leadership, community participation and political representation in order to support better policies, regulations and services to meet the needs of poor women. The program focuses on five thematic areas:
  • Improving women’s access to government social protection programs;
  • Improving conditions of employment and removing workplace discrimination;
  • Improving conditions for women’s overseas labour migration;
  • Improving women’s health and nutritional status;
  • Reducing violence against women.
The MAMPU Program is managed by Cowater International. Cowater International, through the MAMPU Secretariat, provides grants and capacity development to MAMPU Partners to carry out their projects.

The Senior Procurement and Risk Management Officer will report directly to the Finance and Administration Manager (FAM) and will be responsible for all legal advice, procurement advice, contract development and preparation, and contracts management for the Program. This includes leading all legal & contracting/procurement processes (preparing solicitation documents, evaluation criteria, terms of reference, technical specifications) and managing all contracts and tenders for goods, services and technical assistance.
