Summary job description
Blue Ventures is currently recruiting an experienced Community Partnership Facilitator to build relationships between communities and partners that support locally-led mangrove forest and fisheries management in Indonesia.

This exciting position will work alongside the Blue Forests Development Manager in Indonesia to identify, nurture and support strategic partnerships with coastal communities, government stakeholders and grassroots NGO partners interested in adapting and replicating the holistic approach to mangrove conservation developed by Blue Ventures in Madagascar. The evolving role will entail engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and designing  a strategy to foster a shared vision of solutions to community-based marine conservation challenges.

The successful candidate will be a motivated, proactive and highly organised individual, with a keen interest and passion in working in the marine conservation sector. The role offers the opportunity for strategic thinking for engaging coastal communities and partners on mangrove/marine conservation challenges. The evolving nature of the organisation will give the candidate opportunities to apply original and  innovative thinking  to diverse tasks and challenges.
