Economic Empowerment for Migrant Domestic Workers Job Vacancy: Executive Director - Hong Kong

This is a full-time (5 days working week), paid position for a 12 month contract. We are ideally looking for someone able to start immediately and with the right to work in Hong Kong.

About Enrich Enrich is a fast growing, dynamic charity working to promote the economic empowerment of migrant domestic workers in Hong Kong. Established in 2007, Enrich provides financial literacy, business development and empowerment education programmes that allow migrant domestic workers to take greater control of their finances and secure the future for themselves and for their families.**

Position Description:
Enrich is seeking an enthusiastic and highly skilled Executive Director as we enter an exciting stage of growth. Reporting directly to the Board, the Executive Director will lead strategy and oversee all operations of the organization, including programmes, fundraising, communications, financial management and community relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a passionate and skilled operations team, shaping and implementing strategy for programmes, fundraising, communications and impact assessment;
  • Oversee all financial planning and management, along with human resource needs of the organisation;
  • Lead high level partnerships and engagement with external stakeholders;
  • Raise Enrich’s profile within HK, as the leading NGO for financial and empowerment education of migrant domestic workers;
  • Report directly to the Board.
Essential
  • Passion for migrant women’s rights
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, particularly progressively management experience, with track record of success in the private, public or NGO sectors;
  • Experience in scaling up and operationalising strategies that have taken an organization to the next stage of growth;
  • Experience in organizational management, overseeing staff, setting and delivering strategic goals and managing a budget, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making and reporting;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills to represent the organization;
  • Team player; able to work effectively with diverse groups of individuals.

  • Advanced degree (social sciences, international development, management or other areas relevant to Enrich’s work)
Desirable
  • Past experience working with a Board of Directors;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the situation of migrant domestic;
  • workers in HK;
  • Additional language (ie. Tagalog, Bahasa Indonesian, Cantonese) desirable but not essential**
