Indonesia One Health University Network Job Vacancy: Field Researcher, Jakarta - Indonesian

Indonesia One Health University Network is a network of Indonesian universities that seeks to foster One Health collaboration among human, animal, and environmental health sectors. We build the capacity of Indonesian workers to respond to emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases.

First established in 2012, we are interested in recruiting a highly motivated and talented Field Researcher to be part of research team involved in the study of disease emergence and economic evaluation of altered landscape (DEAL)

Scope of work:

  • Collect, analyze, and back up data
  • Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary
  • Summarize interviews
  • Prepare progress reports for the PI
  • Prepare other reports and presentations
  • Coordinate with finance and administrative division regarding financial budget plan and report related to project activities
  • Generate Verbatim
Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in anthropology or public health with at least 1 year of working experience
  • Must be familiar with qualitative and quantitative research instruments and software
  • Experience in managing data survey
  • Willing to commit for 1 month research project and to be placed in Riau, East Kalimantan, or West Papua for data collection purpose
  • Willing to start working as soon as possible
  • Possess good communication and preferably have the ability to communicate with high level stakeholders
  • Possess good Microsoft office skill
  • Able to work with less supervision and under pressured setting
  • Highly dedicated to work in non-governmental organization
