Responsibility of the position is to provide operational and administrative services to the NDA and the Readiness Team in Indonesia. This position will report to the GCF and Investment Specialist of the GGGI Indonesia program and will be located in the FPA office.

INTRODUCTION
The GGGI Indonesia Program, known as the 'GoI-GGGI Green Growth Program' (GGP), aims to demonstrate that green investment is possible and can become the norm both for investors and for planners, ultimately improving the quality of growth and development. Through the Program, GGGI collaborates with the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS), the Coordinating Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, the of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur ("PT SMI").

GGGI Indonesia closely collaborates with Fiscal Policy Agency (FPA) under Ministry of Finance (MoF) to provide technical assistance and consultancy in relevance to climate finance/investment. The FPA is a "think tank" for MoF which has the strategic role as the formulator of scal and nancial sector policy recommendations, with the scope of work that covers analysis in macro economy, state revenue, expenditure and international cooperation. The FPA also serves as focal point or National Designated Authority (NDA) for Green Climate Fund (GCF) in Indonesia.

The NDA has selected GGGI as Delivery Partner to implement GCF Readiness and Preparatory Support Programme Proposal ("the Readiness Program") which has been approved by the GCF on 8th June 2018. GGGI will compose a team ("the Readiness Team") consisting of GGGI existing staff, new recruits, individual consultants and consulting firms to perform deliverables as said in the Readiness Program.

PURPOSE
  • Execute operational and administrative services to ensure prompt, responsive, accountable, and high-quality to the NDA and the Readiness Team in Indonesia
  • Support the preparation of knowledge dissemination materials including the development of presentations about Green Climate Fund and the NDA
  • Manage and maintain documentation of activities and events, including minutes taking for the NDA.
  • Support the GCF and Investment Specialist in the coordination and liaison within the Ministry of Finance, other line ministries, government task force, pool of experts, and other stakeholders for the NDA and the Readiness Team for example through the preparation of official letters, event invitations or other relevant activities.
  • Organize events, documentation, calendars, and assist in preparation as well as implementation of activities like procurement, budgets and payments, invitations and confirmations, organizing logistics, and other required items
  • Closely collaborate and liaise with GGGI's operations team to ensure accordance with GGGI's rules and procedures
  • Support administration process of the Readiness Team to develop recommendation reports to the Head of FPA
ENGAGEMENT
  • Maintain continuous coordination, on a day-to-day basis, with the NDA for the multiple tasks related to the Readiness Program and other NDA related tasks
  • Identify issues and risks that will affect consistent program and office operation and report to the Green Finance Specialist (GGGI) and the NDA
  • Advise the GGGI team members on the status of project delivery highlighting issues of resource management and delivery schedule.
  • Collaborate with other units and divisions of GGGI within the Country for problem solving and seeking opportunities to share lesson learned.
DELIVERY
  • Develop reports on M&A issues of the project (office banking solutions, visa processing, logistics solutions, etc.) based on identified needs and requests Support Readiness Team in developing media contents
  • Organize meetings, documentation, workshops and other events with key stakeholders
  • Prepare minutes of workshops, events and meetings organized by the NDA and the Readiness Team
  • High quality presentations and other information dissemination products under supervision of the NDA and the Readiness Team
  • Ensure timely delivery of administration, logistics, procurement, and other operational aspects
  • Coordinate with other GGGI departments (e.g. Finance and Procurement) to ensure smooth process and compliance to GGGI's rules and regulations
  • Monitor the delivery progress and risk mitigation measures of the Readiness Program and communicate with the Readiness Team
  • Relationship with stakeholders are maintained well and information is shared
  • Ensure that GGGI's standards are applied and met accordingly
  • Support the monitoring of the ongoing activities and tasks for reporting purposes
REQUIREMENTS

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or commerce disciplines or related fields
  • At least 3 year of relevant experience working and be responsible on relevant areas to the post
  • Familiarity in working with government agencies in Indonesia
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Indonesian and English
  • Is able and willing to travel within Indonesia if necessary.
