Girl
Effect is seeking to recruit a highly skilled research professional,
with experience in monitoring and evaluation and learning for
girl-centred programming on girls’ rights and gender equality.
The
consultancy will deliver services in support
of Girl Effect’s work with girls’ clubs, mentoring programmes and Safe
Spaces initiatives.
The consultant will be required to provide
short-term support in the development of monitoring and evaluation
frameworks for a number of projects in development, as well as design
and support to implementation of pilot studies on effectiveness of
programme curriculum and materials to inform the on-going development of
Girl Effect’s theory of change.
They
will be required to deliver services for up to 120 days across a
6-month period.
The role will be based at the Girl Effect London office
with some flexibility for home working 1-2 days per week if required.
Up
to three international trips to Girl Effect projects in Sub-Saharan
African countries may be required, for which Girl Effect will cover
costs.
Travel to the London office will not be reimbursed.
