The Role
Summary
Aktis Strategy is looking to hire a Corporate Manager to drive forward the corporate and financial management of our office in Turkey. This is a newly created role. The person will report to the Turkey Project Manager and have direct line management responsibility for the Gaziantep-based administration team.
The successful candidate will be experienced in either finance or human resources and have a good working knowledge of both in the Turkish context.

Corporate Management
The Role
Summary

Key Responsibilities include:
Corporate Management
- Maintaining office legal and registration documents, and liaising with the Turkish authorities as required;
- Streamlining and improving general working processes and procedures by initiating and implementing changes or reinforcing existing practices;
Personnel Management
- Prepare employment contracts and liaise with UK head office;
- Manage monthly salary payments;
- Ensure all social security and employment obligations are met;
- Manage, train and develop the local administrative and support staff. This will include:
- overseeing any additional hiring,
- managing workload,
- training and development,
- Ensure staff comply with company Code of Conduct.
Financial Management
- Overseeing financial administration;
- Submission of timely and accurate cash flow projections and requests to UK head office;
- Management of bank and cash accounts;
- Managing payment of project expenses and staff/associates salaries (in cash and via online transfers);
- Liaising with local accountants and UK head office finance team.
Requirements
Professional Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related area
- 5 – 10 years managerial experience
- HR and/or finance experience, including an understanding of social security, corporate taxation, work permits and employment law;
- Sufficient financial knowledge and experience to fulfil the financial management responsibilities outlined above. In particular, this person will have prior experience of daily bookkeeping and weekly financial reconciliations;
- Managed and developed a small team of administrators/support staff or, if not, have the gravitas and potential to do so;
- Excellent IT skills, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- A track record of demonstrably improving the management of an office and/or administrative team;
- Experience of working for an international company;
- Experience of working in the international development or professional services sector;
- Project management experience.
