Human Development Forum Foundation Vacancy: Program Officer - Training, Bangkok - Thailand

The Human Development Forum Foundation is a dedicated educational and research organization, defined by our motto, "knowledge improves life." Our research and training staff come from a diverse background including education, business, development, social work, and defense, among others. With decades of combined academic and real-world experience, we strive to build local capacity, improve the security of our communities, and contribute meaningful knowledge to society through all of our educational and research programs. Our foundation's mission is to empower individuals and communities in Thailand, as well as throughout ASEAN.

HDFF is currently looking for qualified candidates for the position of Program Officer - Training based in our Bangkok office. The Program Officer - Training primarily oversees all aspects of the foundation’s training center, but may also be required to assist in the management of other projects and general operations. Our team consists of Thai and international staff, and the working language is English, but speaking Thai is an advantage. All applicants MUST be fluent in English, with the ability to speak and write in English at a professional level.

Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
  • Experience in project management including developing proposals, budgeting, reporting and similar tasks
  • Experience in developing training course curriculum
  • Experience in course facilitation
  • Experience in conducting research and report writing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is mandatory
  • Fluency in Thai an asset, but not required
Responsibilities
  • Development and marketing of HDFF’s training programs
  • Development of training course content
  • Delivery of training course content
  • Logistics for training programs including assisting participants with visa applications, arranging venue, coordinating outside instructors
  • Invoicing and payment processing for training courses
  • Solicit applications, interview applicants, and train new interns and junior staff
  • Manage and oversee daily work or junior interns and staff
  • Submit quarterly training center income forecast
  • Monthly processing of payroll for all foundation staff
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with stakeholders, donors, clients, and various experts§ Develop topics, recruit experts, and oversee the organization and execution of HDFF’s Strategic Forum conference series
  • Other tasks as assigned
