SKILLS: Good knowledge of and experience in Minimum Standards for Education in Emergencies (INEE), Education Cluster Handbook and ECCD standard guidelines. Strong team management, staff capacity building and motivation skills in teamwork and networking.Knowledge on tackling inequality and exclusion. Excellent skills in donor proposal / report writing. Experience in conducting Education needs assessments. External representation and communication skills, including ability to facilitate and lead group meetings and working groups. May be required, to work during late hours, weekends and holidays in order to ensure timely delivery of programmes.
People Skills:Ability to work independently and as a team player who demonstrates leadership and is able to support and train local and international staff and also able to work with disaster affected communities in a sensitive and participatory manner.
Communication Skills: Well developed written and oral communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and sensitively with internal and external stakeholders as a representative of Plan. This includes effective negotiation and representation skills.

Physical Environment and Demands: Extensive travel, sometimes to hazardous environments. Periods of intense work at all times of day and night.
Level of Contact with Children: Mid contact: Occasional direct interaction with children when at the IDPs camps/evacuation centre
Physical location: Based in Jakarta with frequent visit to Palu.
Durations: 04 six month.
