Project Overview

LINKAGES (Linkages across the Continuum of HIV Services for Key Populations Affected by HIV Project) is a five-year cooperative agreement led by FHI 360 and funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief. Pact, along with IntraHealth International and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, are partnering with FHI 360 to conduct a range of activities to reduce HIV transmission among key populations, including female sex workers, Men who have Sex with Men (MSM), and People Who Inject Drugs (PWID). The approach focuses on reaching key populations, ensuring testing, improving their enrollment in HIV care and treatment, and retaining them in the service continuum over time. Pact supports the LINKAGES project to strengthen the technical and organizational capacity of CSOs and government, and to provide capacity development support through provision of direct technical assistance as well as through South to South mentoring. Targeted focus areas for LINKAGES are the five districts of Jakarta and three districts in Papua.

Position Purpose

Reporting to the Grants Manager in Jakarta or his/her delegate, the IT Consultant will be responsible for provide effective and comprehensive maintenance to all computer hardware and peripherals, included: Computer hardware, operating system, security and management, installation and setup, checking all laptops and desktops staff working in Jakarta and Papua, setup email on Microsoft outlook and update software to all laptops and desktops and troubleshooting problems that may occur related to the internet connection and website.

Key Responsibility

  • Installation and setup server for office in Jakarta and Papua.
  • Installation, setup and checking laptops and desktops to staff working in the office Jakarta and Papua.
  • Installation and setup internet connection in the Jakarta office.
  • To setup email on Microsoft Outlook to laptop and desktop for staff working in Jakarta, and Papua.
  • Installation and setup a VPN for financial system and sub-grant system.
  • Updating and software in all laptop and desktop in Jakarta and Papua;
  • Troubleshooting problems that may occur related to the internet connection and website
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Location: Jakarta

Basic Requirement

Consultant will fulfill the requirement as follows:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields is desirable.
    Minimum of 5 years experience with Computer Systems, Network Support and Linux Servers at complex sites (heterogeneous clients and servers, multiple Internet servers including fileservers, web, email, Proxy and DNS).
  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise level data networks, including cabling, setting up network equipment (switches, routers, access points), troubleshooting and management using SNMP and protocol analyzers.
  • Great ability to identify solutions and troubleshooting for computer hardware, software, network and systems in general
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Indonesia Resident

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze and problem solving, highly detail-oriented
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in assigned tasks
  • Experience designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise level data networks, including cabling, setting up network equipment (switches, routers, access points), troubleshooting and management using SNMP and protocol analyzers.
  • Knowledge and experience with general network support systems such VPN, VoIP, Routing, Wireless Network, VSAT, etc.
