WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Population & Habitat Officer. This position will be based in Tanjung Selor and report to Species Specialist.
The job holder will develop research in the purpose of populations and habitats for important species based on scientific research. Implement models or expertise in managing populations and habitats at the site level, build cooperation with parties and play an active role in conducting policy advocacy to realize important species conservation programs in Kayan Landscape, North Kalimantan in accordance with WWF Indonesia’s Strategic Planning
Requirements for this position are:
- At least hold Bachelor Degree (S-1) or above with Forestry, Biology, Social Environment or relevant Major
- At least 3 years proven experience in Wildlife Management
- Knowledgeable and updated with government regulation about palm oil sector
- Willing to work and travel in remote area in North Kalimantan
