WWF-ID is currently seeking for the best candidate for the position of Marine Tourism Officer Southern East Sulawesi Subseascape (SESS). This position will be based in Wakatobi, Sulawesi Tenggara and report to Southern East Sulawesi Subseascape Project Executant.

This position will be providing operational assistance to WWF Indonesia towards ecological footprint reduction through developing responsible partnerships and Reducing plastic pollution in the sea in order to provide support for resource conservation projects in conservation areas in Wakatobi National Park, Southeast Sulawesi and South Sulawesi

Requirements for this position are:

  • Minimum hold Bachelor Degree (S-1) or above with Marine Science, Tourism Science, Hospitality or relevant Major
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in ecotourism, sustainable fisheries, management of marine resources, and community strengthening
  • Willing to work and travel in remote areas
  • Good writing, communication, and presentation skills
