Founded in 1985, Habitat for Humanity Canada is a national, charitable organization working toward a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to call home. Habitat for Humanity brings communities together to help families build strength, stability and independence through affordable homeownership. With the help of volunteers, Habitat homeowners and 54 local Habitats working in every province and territory, Habitat for Humanity provides a solid foundation for better, healthier lives in Canada and around the world. Habitat for Humanity Canada is a member of Habitat for Humanity International, which was established in 1976 and has grown to become a leading global nonprofit working in more than 70 countries.
Habitat Canada has an ambitious strategic goal of significantly increasing the number of families it serves annually through its affordable homeownership program over the upcoming years and seeks a new President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization in achieving this, and other, goals.

Working with a strong and dedicated senior leadership team, the President & CEO will build upon Habitat Canada’s well-established reputation to cultivate a culture within both the National Office and across the entire Federation with the energy and passion to embrace and reach its ambitious goals. In support of these goals, the President & CEO will be tasked with creating, leading and delivering a strategic plan for the Habitat for Humanity Federation, which will define a vision and role for the national office, establishing a plan to implement that vision and role, and create a system of metrics to monitor and communicate progress towards achieving the vision and role.
