Position Overview

The chosen applicant will be responsible to implement a two-year-long comprehensive, innovative and multi-pronged public education and outreach campaign, primarily in regional languages, in the Delhi-NCR (National Capital Region). The campaign will demystify the issue of air pollution and cut through social and economic divisions to offer a clear and compelling explanation of the challenges, as well as solutions, available to the average citizen to protect their own health and that of their families while contributing to the greater good.  The applicant should be well aware of the science behind air quality and the need to present it to the public in lay terms. The candidate will be responsible for the delivery of outreach programs. The program coordinator along with other team members for the program will be responsible for all relevant aspects related to successful implementation and documentation of the program.


The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of 2-3 Years; Experience of Working on Awareness & Outreach Campaign.
  • Ideally experience of working on Air Pollution.
  • Good understanding of Air Pollution, The Problems, and Possible Solutions.
  • Good public speaking skills in English and Hindi.
  • Experience of spending time on-ground for outreach activities.
  • Good understanding of Social Media and Communications.

Innovative, Creative and able to work on tight deadlines.

Organizational Overview

Lung Care Foundation (LCF), is a not-for-profit organization working towards “Care & Cure of 2.6 Billion Lungs in India” by developing programs for improving lung health services and advocating for clean air by highlighting the health ill-effects of Air Pollution. To date, LCF has addressed over 15000+ individuals, reached over 5 million individuals through videos, created a strong and active network of over 1500+ student volunteers and created a pan-India network of Doctors. LCF’s latest initiative on Asthma Management in schools has been supported by the Central Government for implementation across 100,000+ schools. LCF also holds a Guinness World Record for the Largest Human Image of an Organ. The initiatives of LCF have been presented at various prestigious platforms, including the United Nations Head Quarters and appreciated by the President of India, the Prime Minister of India and many senior UN Dignitaries.
