Azad Foundation has successfully
launched its unique initiative to provide a driving career to women from
under privileged families in the NCR. It has been growing steadily over
the past 5 years and its success story has been featured in different
media programs. The Foundation is now in the process of launching a
similar project in Kolkata, in close collaboration and coordination with
other NGOs and grassroot organizations that are already established in
the city and are working with women and gender issues.
We
are seeking a suitable candidate to head this initiative as the Project
Director, Kolkata. The person needs to be well acquainted with Kolkata,
be fluent in Bengali and Hindi, and have the requisite skills including
the ability to ensure smooth coordination with other key partners, as
well as strong leadership skills to launch and establish the project.
This will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity, and there will be
consistent and constant support from the NCR Azad Foundation team.
However, there is enormous scope for the Project Director to use his/her
initiative and skills to make the project a success.
Purpose of role:
- Strategic planning for excellence in programs, operations and processes
- High quality implementation of Azad programs
- Supervising administrative, finance and accounts management in Azad Foundation
