#MENTAWAI - Vacancy with SurfAid International : Program Development Manager

SurfAid International is a non-profit organization working for healthy and resilient communities in remote areas connected to us through surfing. With the head office in Medan, the community programs are implemented in Mentawai, Nias, Bima and Sumba.

Under supervision of Country Director and working with Program Managers, the position is responsible to design and deliver quality programs in line with SurfAid values, mission and communities needs.

Focusing in program development in EAST INDONESIA, The Program Development Manager is also person in charge to organize and supervise activities  to support increase the quality of programs and interventions through setting and implementing of relevant and  sustainable program development methodologies, support for design, start up, monitoring & evaluation, learning and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • More than 5 years experience in program management or Development Aid sector, preferably in behavior change or public health
  • Strong analitical skills
  • Solid experience in community development or program development research
  • Excellent communication skills, more specifically in proposal and report writing both in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Willing to travel and work in remote areas
  • Has cultural sensitivity to work in different areas and cultures in Indonesia
