NLR Indonesia Job Vacancy: Fundraising Officer, Jakarta

NLR Indonesia is a national foundation, member of NLR Alliance. NLR Indonesia's main programs are leprosy control, prevention of disability, inclusive development for persons with disabilities, and cross cutting interventions on reducing stigma and discrimination for people affected by leprosy and persons with disabilities. We partnering with disabled people organizations, civil society organizations, educational institutions, professional associations as well as national and local government institutions.

Currently NLR Indonesia is looking for a candidate for following position: Fundraising Officer based in Jakarta

Main Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Development and Quality Manager, the Fundraising Officer’s main responsibilities are:
  • Establish and cultivate close relationships with corporates/institutions, responding to their requests, updating them about the work of the organization
  • Search for calls through internet, newspapers, magazines, networks, etc.
  • Identify potential donors nationally and internationally and conduct research on the prospective donors
  • Donor data management
  • Contribute or participate in developing quality concept notes, tailored funding proposals, liaising with the program and finance department to develop detailed project proposals & budgets, for submission to institutional/corporate/ funding agencies
  • Review grant agreements, including initial review, feedback to donors and amendments
  • Participate in institutional donor meetings as necessary
  • Provide support and carry out other tasks as required by the NLR Indonesia
Qualifications
  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, social entrepreneurship or other business-related subjects
  • Social work background will be preferred
  • Three years of fundraising experience for nonprofits.
Competencies
  • Excellent written and oral communication in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Demonstrable and effective proposal writing skills
  • Verifiable and successful fundraising and donor liaison/reporting track record
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Well organized and keen to take initiative
  • Ability to meet the deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience and diplomacy, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to create a supportive working environment amongst all staff
