Objective: The post holder, who reports to the Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Region, investigates and pursues funding opportunities as well as calls for proposals of the international donor community, which are in line with the development needs of the CBM supported projects in the region.
Main Tasks: •Agrees with the Regional Office team on programmatic and funding priorities in the region •Investigates relevant calls for proposals published locally, regionally and internationally •Liaises with CBM Member Associations with regard to co-funding matters •Agrees with partner organisations and other key stakeholders, on objectives, results, activities, indicators and budget for the individual proposal and provides technical expertise into the process •Liaises with local/ regional donor agencies •Monitors reporting to MAs from the partners •Plans and organises trainings for Partner Organisations
Professional Profile and Requirement •University degree in economics or other relevant field •Excellent analytical and conceptual skills •Excellent proposal writing skills •Proven knowledge of and experience in international development cooperation •Proven knowledge of and experience in Project Cycle Management •Very good communication and coordination skills •Very good moderation skills •Ability and willingness to travel in the Eastern Mediterranean Region (Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Middle East and North Africa)
