Our three hubs are strategically located in Johannesburg, Abu Dhabi and Oxford. We are seeking highly skilled and experienced individuals with a passion to draw on their experience to develop clear, compelling analyses and implement solutions for client problems. They must be motivated to achieve behavioural change in client interactions with society / social issue management. The successful candidates will be flexible, adaptable and able to interact comfortably with corporate clients and with community representatives. We welcome applications from candidates with a diverse set of relevant experience whether from business, academia, not–for-profit or development backgrounds. We expect that all Consultants must be passionate about the work we do and be able to organise themselves and others to respond to the project needs. • Masters Degree or equivalent – in economics, social sciences, international relations or similar discipline, with strong consultancy and management experience. • Extensive track record managing social issues on extractive projects including due diligence, social impact assessments, community relations, stakeholder engagement and consultation, community development and sustainable development, social investment, regional development – preferably of working in emerging markets / developing countries. • Innovative and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to identify opportunities to extend own practice and looking for ways to grow the business and leverage opportunities • Ability to persuade and influence through communication • Other language/s, especially French. Portuguese, Arabic or a Chinese language would be useful.
