Liberia – WASH Programme Coordinator

Based in Monrovia.

Involves 60% travelling

Contract Length: 12 months initially

Start date: As soon as possible

An experienced manager is needed to coordinate Tearfund’s WASH programme in Liberia. This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to participate in an innovative & exciting multi-agency, multi-donor and national government WASH consortium.

The role involves working closely with Tearfund partners, networking with INGOs, Government Departments and UN bodies; management of internal and external relationships; people and resource management and ensuring that all donor reporting and contractual requirements are met.

Proven experience in all these areas is therefore necessary as well as budget management, report writing, monitoring and evaluation, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene project management. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are also required.

The successful applicant will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, training and facilitation skills, ability to prioritise and pay attention to detail. Very good interpersonal skills are also required.

Salary: £27,536 per annum plus competitive benefits package
