Health Finance Staff/Consultants - Management Sciences for Health, Jakarta

Management Sciences for Health (MSH) is a non-profit organization dedicated to close the gap between what is known about public health problems and what is done to solve them, particularly in developing and transitional countries. Headquartered in the United States, we have operations in more than 30 countries and employ staff from over 60 nations.

MSH is a partner on USAID’s TBCARE I project in Indonesia and is seeking persons with skills and experience in health finance to work as staff and/or consultants on tuberculosis (TB) financing. The work will be partly in Jakarta and partly in the provinces.

The persons will form part of a team that provides technical assistance to the Government of Indonesia in the areas of TB costing, budgeting and financing. Specific functions include assisting with the costing and budgeting of TB services at the district levels, assisting with cost-effectiveness studies related to diagnosis and treatment, and the generation of revenue through public and private insurance schemes.

Applicants should have a degree in health economics or accounting; more than 3 years’ experience in costing and budgeting, preferably relating to health programs; good computer skills and experience, especially in MS Word and MS Excel; good technical writing skills and experience; experience in training others; native Bahasa Indonesia plus fluency in written and spoken English; and ability to travel in Indonesia.
