The Finance and Resource Director - Pacific Timor Leste (PTL) will support the National Director in providing strategic leadership in growing the resources in PTL by liaising with Support Offices on potential funding opportunities. The Finance and Resource Director will also be responsible for ensuring the finances in the region are well managed and overheads are maintained at an acceptable level. He/She will also deliver accurate, compliant and efficient financial services & information within partnership standards and to provide information that can support effective decision making and efficient resource allocation & utilization to maximize ministry effectiveness.

With a proven track record in a fast paced, complex and ideally global organisation, you will have a desire, to help others and model ethics in line with the foundations and ethos of the organisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Advise and support the PTL Director in their leadership and engagement on matters related to finance and resourcing in PTL.
• Lead the development of the finance strategy and business plan in support of and in alignment with overall PTL strategy and regional & global finance strategies and priorities.
• Facilitate the implementation of global and regional finance initiatives including but not limited to SunSystems consolidation, cost allocation methodology (CAM), standard chart of accounts, LEAP (Learning through Evaluation with Accountability & Planning) Finance.
• Support the PTL Offices in ensuring adherence to guidelines, policies, protocols and standards related to finance.

SKILLS REQUIRED INCLUDE:
• Master’s degree in Accountancy, Business Administration (Finance) or related degree • Certified Public accountant, or Chartered Accountant, or Cost Accountant • 3 - 5 years Senior leadership experience in an organization • 30 – 40 % travel to Country Program Offices and other WV offices is expected
