The Kaghan Memorial Trust (KMT) is a non-profit charitable organisation that is currently establishing the first of a number of schools providing free quality primary education for underprivileged children in Pakistan.
KMT is currently recruiting a female Programme Officer to work on a volunteer basis at its head office in Islamabad. The tentative starting date of the position is October 2012, the contract length is one year.
The main responsibilities of the Programme Officer include:
KMT provides its volunteers with accommodation, meals, one return air ticket per year for travel between their home country and Islamabad, visa expenses, local health coverage, local transport facilities and a monthly stipend of Pak. Rs. 10,000 (approx US $106) to cover incidental expenses. Programme Officers are entitled to 36 days leave per year as well as local national holidays.

- Communication with donors, potential donors, child sponsors;
- Organisation of fundraising events and activities;
- Liasion with the Kaghan Memorial School;
- General office administration;
- Serving as a substitute teacher at the Kaghan Memorial School for short periods if required.
