fill the following position for our office in Tapanuli Utara:
SLP Senior
District Program Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical coordination, management and leadership primarily to support the SLP program to ensure that program/project results meets SLP quality standards and expectations and that these projects are progressing on schedule;
- Provide technical guidance for those field staff different components in line with SLP work plans, annually, quarterly and monthly basis.
- Coordinate regular field staff meeting in the field office, sharing each other and follow up technical recommendation to regional office.
- Close coordination with local government departments and built ownership and buy in the SLP success stories.
- Facilitate a good cooperation among field staff with various technical teams from SLP and government
- Provide regular progress report to different stakeholders on the ground especially to local government.
- Provide details monthly work plan on whiteboard and pay attention for priority scale agenda.
- All back to office reports are submitted timely for compilation;
- Together with M&E coordinator, ensure performance indicator are in place and taking into account the collection of reliable data and information
Qualifications:
- Degree in social science, management, natural resource management-related science with a minimum 5 years of experience
- Has experience in agribusiness, forestry or conservation work in Sumatra or another location with wide range of networking;
- Good management and leadership experience;
- Experience in coordinating and managing program support from International and National donor agencies, foundations and private sources with a preference for USAID;
- Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural situations with a wide range of people in both the public and private sectors, including business, government, non-governmental organizations, donor organizations, local communities, consultants and volunteers.
- Knowledge and background in the customs and government organizations of Indonesia.
- Willingness to travel and work long hours, including work in arduous field conditions, often to remote areas and work weekends and after hours as needed.
- Proven record of success as part of interdisciplinary project teams;
- Good communication skills and develop network;
- Fluent in English (Speaking, Reading and Writing);
- Computer literate with excellent skills in office software suite
