The Swiss Red Cross SRC is Switzerland's flagship humanitarian organization, comprising almost 70,000 volunteers and 500,000 members. It is the only national Red Cross organization recognized by the Swiss Federation, and forms part of the worldwide Red Cross movement.

Its headquarters in Berne provide professional and needs-oriented services in the fields of health and integration within Switzerland, and in the fields of disaster relief work, reconstruction and development cooperation abroad. The SRC headquarters also act as a centre of excellence and service provider for the entire Group, including cantonal associations, rescue organizations and institutions.

Digital Fundraising Manager (80-100%)

Working as part of an 8-person team, you will be in charge of fundraising on all digital platforms, such as mobile devices, internet, SMS, newsletter, and so on.

Your main tasks
  • Developing and implementing a digital fundraising strategy
  • Continuously analysing and optimizing digital fundraising, donor/user journeys, etc.
  • Interface and main contact person for in-house stakeholders and outside agents
  • Using and continuously monitoring of the latest digital fundraising techniques, such as P2P, crowd-funding, etc. 
Your profile
  • You hold an appropriate university qualification and at least 2 years of professional experience in fundraising, preferably in the digital sector. 
  • You are skilled in drafting convincing digital content and experience in e-mail, online and mobile mar-keting tools, including preferably SEO/SEM or Google Technologies/ Tools, such as AdWords/Ana-lytics/Display Network 
  • You are a good communicator, speak/write fluent English and ideally have a good working knowledge of German or French. 
  • You have an interest in humanitarian issues, values and organizations. 
  • Your work is customer- and solution-oriented and you are proactive in your approach. 
  • To round off your profile you should have good presentation skills, a winning personality, team spirit and ideally basic management experience.
