Currently we work in 4 provinces: Jakarta, Central Java, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara and sponsors more than 40,000 children.

Plan International Indonesia is looking for a dynamic staff  to be based in  Country Office (Jakarta) for the position:

Youth Engagement Specialist - Jakarta Based

Key Responsibilities:

Program Quality: Provide critical technical input of youth engagement into the strategy, design, indicators and detailed implementation plan of Inclusive Workforce Development Partnership Project . Develop and review program implementation guidelines, tools, modules etc to integrate youth development approaches. Monitor youth engagement program quality and ensure the program achieve its goal and objective. Alert project staff as to any problems with program quality or variations from program strategy. Provide input to the development of project planning in any level ,Actively involved in reviewing the report

Building Capacity: Advise the project on ways to improve program quality. Train (or arrange training) for project staff and/or partners as required in coordination with HR  department. Take part in the recruitment of staff in area of expertise. Support continuous learning of technical staff through workshops, seminars and conferences.

Learning: Document learning in program and best practices. Share learning and best practices and insure that they are incorporated into future work. Help to develop and oversee ToRs for research and evaluation in sector.Ensure you are up to date with current trends and thinking in the sector globally and within IndonesiaConduct continuous search for innovation and improved learning program practices within and outside Plan Indonesia to pursue continuous program improvement

Networking and advocacy: Networking and coordination with others involved in the sectorSupport advocacy activities at district and provincial level. Advocate at national level where needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Behaviours, and Experience Required:

Education: Minimum master degree in related field (education, economics, management, social development, psychology and any other related field)

Knowledge and Skill: Good understanding and knowledge in youth engagement and youth developmentGood understanding on youth employment issues Strong in strategic planning and evaluating skillsStrong analytical skillsGood command of oral and written communications in Bahasa and English including writing the reportGood communication,  facilitation and negotiation skill

Experience: At least five (5) years of work experience in youth engagement program  at different of responsibilities. At least three( 3 ) years of experience working for or with NGO At least three ( 3 ) years of experience working in relevant projects such as Youth training development programExperienced in inclusive approach programming is a plus  Experience in conducting studies, data analysis and report-writing

Range Salary : IDR 15 935 447 – 22 000 000, -
