KOMPAK Program
KOMPAK is an Australia-Indonesia government partnership supporting the Government of Indonesia's efforts in reducing poverty through improvements in basic service delivery and creating opportunities for work. KOMPAK focuses its efforts on three result areas:
  • Supporting Local Governments and Service Units to better address the needs of basic service users;
  • Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from improved village governance; and
  • Supporting the poor and vulnerable to benefit from increased opportunities for employment and economic development.
The Opportunity
The purpose of the Program Coordinator is to provide support with cross-coordinating activities between health, education and Civil Registry Vital Statistic sectors.

Key Duties
  • Support the delivery of quality project outputs through quality preparation of annual and quarterly work plans, including budgets in close coordination Education and health managers.
  • Undertake project monitoring and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual implementation reports, both physical and financial
  • Ensure that the inputs are relevant to the activities, and the activities are relevant to the results and ensure that value for money is observed throughout the project implementation, including compliance to guidelines for allowable expenses at established rates
  • Keep Sector Strengthening Lead advised of issues that may affect the satisfactory progress of the program
  • Demonstrate commitment to gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) by proactively identifying opportunities where GESI can be integrated in to Activities to achieve set goals
  • Provide support to Sectoral Strengthening Lead to track, record and update Sectoral Strengthening work plan and budget portfolio (annual work plan, Grant, STC, Others)
  • Coordinates the planning and preparation of grant proposal for CRVS activities in accordance with granting agency requirements. This includes budgeting and preparation of grant proposal, monitoring performance, tracking finance and provide QA report submission from KOMPAK Partners
  • Comply with all KOMPAK specific manuals, policies and procedures (HR, finance, grant, procurement, etc) for all relevant work on its thematic area
  • In collaboration with KOMPAK governance support unit to provide accurate and updated data and information for BAST documents and processes
Key Requirements
  • Master’s degree in relevant field and or at minimum 5 years of experience working on public services delivery issues. Demonstrate knowledge of the Civil Registry and Vital Statistic related regulations/policies will be an advantage
  • Good management and coordination skills, with experience of at least 3 years in project implementation and management of field implementation activities across province
  • Demonstrate experience in management of grant to institution (CSO, NGO, etc) is highly desirable
  • Demonstrate experience in writing project success stories, lessons learned and best practices
  • Willingness to participate in field activities/surveys and extensive travel to remote areas within the project areas
  • Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good analytical skills and an attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
