Help Humanity International (HHI) is a registered, charitable organization promoted by the DMI congregation and its mission is to empower the marginalized women, children, and youth and farmer communities in India, Africa & Pacific Island regions. HHI and its member organizations have established partnerships with range of multi-lateral donors, INGOs, local government, and corporate sector and implement development projects such as School education, Skills training, Prevention of anti-trafficking and violence against women, village savings & loan, farmer association, and farmer training centers, mother & child health and promotion of peace in conflict-affected countries.

Position description
Our South Sudan member organization requires qualified and experienced social work professionals for the position of Program Monitoring Officer to contribute to the development of robust monitoring system for the South Sudan programs. To lead and ensure all project teams understand and use the system to measure progress and take up mid-course corrections to achieve its objectives and goal.

Roles and Responsibility:
  • Contribute to the development of robust monitoring system for all programs
  • Lead and develop annual monitoring plans and ensure it is implemented
  • Contribute to the development of log-frames for new proposals
  • Train program team members and volunteers to understand, internalize and implement the MIS for their respective projects
  • Develop data quality protocols and take up a periodic assessment to confirm its reliability and accuracy
  • Synthesize and analyze data and develop a draft report
  • Keep a schedule of internal and donor reporting and ensure teams adhere to the timelines and reporting templates
Educational qualifications and essential skills
  • Master’s degree in Data management or related subjects
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in M & E roles
  • Demonstrated abilities in data entry and data analytical skills
  • Ability to compile, analyze data and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Knowledge of project cycle management
  • Good management and coordination skills
  • Facilitation skills to train team members
  • Prior experience in African countries is an advantage
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, and organizational skills
  • The compensation package includes salary, food allowance, accommodation, and one-way air-fare after completion of the contract. This position is an unaccompanied position.
