Security Co-Ordinator Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom. Salary: £35, 948 per annum Contract: 1 year Fixed Term Ref: PMTL/HDIPD/112011
Islamic Relief Worldwide is recruiting for a new post within the International Programmes Department. The post holder will be the first point of contact for all issues concerning security worldwide. To oversee and co-ordinate security efforts across the organisation and to liaise with other country offices on the implementation and evaluation of IR Security policy and strategy. He/she will be expected to travel extensively to the Field operations and manage the in-country security function, guidelines and manual.
The successful candidate should have security experience within an NGO setting, plus take part of any emergency mission in a security role. We are looking for proven experience of forming security strategies and working in areas such as Africa, Asia, Middle East and Eastern Europe in a Security role. In addition, he/she should have strong skills in planning, prioritising and meeting targets in a pressurised environment.
