COORDINATOR for its Operations Unit
Working through markets to improve access to medicines and diagnostics for HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, UNITAID is a successful example of innovative financing for development.
The Coordinator
position will provide strategic and operational leadership to the
Operations Unit which manages the portfolio of UNITAID grants across the
three disease areas. The Coordinator will have a leading role in
establishing strong partnerships with implementing and technical
partners.
A successful
candidate will have an advanced degree in advanced university degree in
public health, health economics, public administration, business
management, or any other relevant field with related experience of at
least 10 years in a national/international context in senior,
progressively responsible positions in the management of health
programmes and projects including grant or loan management, monitoring
and evaluation of projects. The position is based in Geneva, with
competitive UN salary and benefits package (P.6 level).
