New Humanity is a volunteer, non profit and apolitical humanitarian organization, founded in 1992 in order to work in South-Eastern Asia.

New Humanity works in Cambodia and Myanmar and its activity is focused in the sectors of disability and education and agricultural development.
 
New Humanity works in Cambodia since 1992 in the sectors of early childhood and primary education, disability. Currently, the activities of New Humanity are located in the provinces of Mondolkiri, Kompong Chhnang and Kandal.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Representation of the organization with local authorities;
  • Management of relations with local partners, international agencies and NGOs;
  • Regular monitoring and coordination of the development programs;
  • Management of financial and economic aspects of development projects;
  • National staff recruitment and management;
  • Ensure that security and safety procedures are regularly updated and shared with staff;
  • Individuation of new intervention areas for the implementation of new development programmes and elaboration of drafts for ner programs proposals;
  • Supervision of the submission of proposals to donors, in collaboration with Italian head office;
  • Management of regular contact with the Italian head office.
EXPERIENCES AND KNOWLEDGE
  1. Master Level education in a relevant field such as International Relations or Development;
  2. At least five years of previous work experience in a high management position of NGOs, preferably in Asian countries;
  3. Work or study experience in a foreigner country;
  4. Extensive project management experience (management, planning, staff development and training skills) in development programmes;
  5. Proven capabilities in leadership and management required;
  6. Excellent skills in written and spoken English;
  7. Good knowledge of Khmer language;
  8. Good command of Microsoft Office;
  9. Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, and flexibility in cultural and organizational terms;
  10. Ability to work well and punctually under pressure.
  11. Sharing the values and the mission of the Pontificial Institute of Foreign Missions (PIME).
