You will be particularly focused on developing and leading the implementation of our HR strategy, managing your HR team of HR professionals and providing advice to senior colleagues.
This will involve ensuring that all HR and OD activities meet quality and time-line goals; identifying any underperformances, rectification approaches and monitoring methodologies; designing targeted training and leadership development initiatives; overseeing the annual plan and key projects as well as the organizational culture, morale and employee concerns, including the resolution of any issues; building an attraction and retention plan; analysing service costs and preparing budgets; representing WorldFish externally and while contributing significantly to the wider CGIAR HR community; and keeping up-to-date with HR best practice, innovating where advantageous.
Already an accomplished, innovative and impactful leader in HR with a multi-country and cross-cultural background, you will have an impressive record of developing and implementing HR strategy including project design and management of, for example, employment brand management and talent attraction strategies. Also, you must have an in-depth understanding of international labour law, global recruitment and remuneration and contract management.
