Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) is currently recruiting for an experienced International Finance Manager.   LCD is one of the largest global disability organisations supporting people in the UK and internationally with programmes in education, access to employment and youth leadership. The head office is in London and globally activities are overseen by regional offices in Kenya, Zambia, India and Thailand, and delivered by partners that are part of a deeply rooted network of over 200 organisations that work across 54 countries.

We have an exciting new opportunity to be Finance Manager, ensuring robust financial procedures, controls and management oversight are in place, while supporting the delivery of an ambitious strategy.   As Finance Manager you will be managing the day to day finance function of international operations and donor’s grants. This role will work in partnership with Heads of functions and Managers in regions in Africa and Asia providing financial expertise, guidance and financial management to ensure effective and rigorous delivery and monitoring of large and complex budgets. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial systems operate in accordance with organisational requirements.

You will be a fully qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills and bring experience of dealing with restricted donor funding. You will have a strong awareness of accounting, taxation, other compliance areas, identifying financial risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. You will be able to demonstrate a track record of capacity building with specific knowledge of large institutional donors such as DFID, the EU or USAID.
