Terre Des Homes Job Vacancy: Project Monitoring and Youth Network for Indonesian Or Assistant to Regional Coordinator SEA

Terms of reference for “Intern” Project Monitoring and Youth Network for Indonesia/ Assistant to Regional Coordinator SEA for liason Indonesia (part time 60%) remuneration: depending on experience/qualifications monthly 350-550usd.
Period: To start a.s.a.p. for initially a period of 1 year.
Contract: With TDH Germany Southeast Asia office Under supervision of the regional coordinator in Bangkok
Role/purpose: Improving/strengthening the Indonesia country program and activities through monitoring/assessing projects progress and its reporting;
  • Strengthening the youth factor in the projects.
  • Assisting Funding Consultant
Tasks:
  • Visit tdh partners and projects in Indonesia to monitor and document progress.
    • progress on project indicators;
    • progress/status on tdh Strategic Goals
  • Meet and support the “youth” in projects for reasons of participation, steering youth and children’s interests, involvement in  policy dialogue/advocacy (local, national, regional and global) and as “legaslitive” grass roots component in positioning tdh;
  • Identify a common theme with all organizations or in activities that could be an entry point to reflect on developing an Indonesian country program;
  • Organize national partner/youth meeting;
  • Finger on the pulse: gather/document on trends, events that are of significant influence on the (improvement/infringement of) child rights and human development.
  • Assist external  3rd Party Funding consultant for German companies in Indonesia.
Qualifications/profile.
  • He/she should have a BS level education related to development, international relations, social work with preferably some (years) od experience in (tdh/development) projects and/or (tdh partner organisations) and/or being active/perform volunteer/management activities with and in youth/child rights organisations or networks.
  • Good verbal/written English skills, computer/IT communication and willing to travel in Indonesia as well as in the ASEAN. Open minded, good communicator and independent and pro active.
  • Professional support/mentoring from the Regional Coordinator implied (the “internship” or learning aspect.)
