Since 2009 the Indonesian-German Forests and Climate Change
Programme (FORCLIME) is supporting the Indonesian Government and relevant
public and private actors in developing and implementing the institutional and
regulatory framework, methods and services for sustainable forest management,
nature conservation and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions from
deforestation and forest degradation (TC Module Objective of the Programme)..
Over the six years since 2009, FORCLIME has already produced many results and
documented them in the form of, for instance, publications, studies and
reports. Those results need to be stored and available for GIZ and its
programmes.
For these reasons, the support
provided by the intern as outlined above will be beneficial to both the
programme and GIZ.
FORCLIME is seeking
one qualified Indonesian candidate for the following position:

and Climate Change Programme (FORCLIME)
Related to Information and
Knowledge Management
Responsibilities
The incumbent provides support for FORCLIME on activities related to
Information and Knowledge Management that include dissemination information
through special events (i.e. exhibition), maintaining and updating the
available KM system (i.e. website, FORCLIME photo database, FORCLIME
publication collection flash disk, FORCLIME videos, glossary list). The
internship is also to support FORCLIME in creating and or editing design and
layout of promotional items (i.e. banner, backdrop, posters, briefing notes,
factsheets, power point presentations, reports).
Tasks
The following tasks provide a framework and can be adjusted during the
internship:
- Support in organizing special events at national and sub national levels.
- Support in taking pictures during events (exhibition, talk show, workshop, and training).
- Support in maintaining and updating PR Material folder on the Programme server.
- Support in maintaining and updating FORCLIME photo database.
- Support in maintaining and updating FORCLIME products (publications, audio video, film, etc.) produced by FORCLIME and other relevant organizations.
- Maintaining and updating the display materials.
- To support on translating the document English to Indonesia or Indonesia to English.
- Support the programme on documentation and filing the document for knowledge management purposes
Required qualifications and competences
- At least Bachelor degree in communication, or other relevant fields; fresh graduate are encouraged;
- Interest and sufficient knowledge in forestry and environment issues;
- Excellent command of MS-Office;
- Having experience of visual skills, such as photography, graphic design, and Adobe Photoshop
- Strong writing skills and fluency in English.
Working Hours: 5
working days per week, 8 working hours per day
Expected Joining Date: 1
February 2018 – 31 July 2018
