Know our team
Nutrition International’s Program Operations Unit is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of Nutrition International’s core program interventions including program development, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting, and grant management, including setting annual operational planning, budgeting and review processes. The unit comprises a global team of professionals located in our 10 core countries across Asia, Africa and our headquarters in Ottawa, Canada.

About you
You are someone who has proven experience in designing, implementing, and supervising monitoring, data collection and management and reporting for donor funded multi-country complex programs. You have a bachelor’s degree in public health, international development, social sciences, or other relevant discipline. You have completed a specialized training, or a Masters and/or certification in monitoring, evaluation and learning as it applies to donor funded International Development programs preferred. You have at least 5 years of demonstrated experience monitoring and evaluating public health or nutrition programs, including at least 3 at the supervisory level.

About the role
In this role you will:
  • Guide and oversee the development, implementation, and periodic review of monitoring plans and support annual project planning and budget exercises to ensure monitoring and learning activities are resourced and implemented.
  • Provide strategic direction and technical leadership for the strengthening of Nutrition International’s data management systems, policies, and protocols.
  • In collaboration with Nutrition International’s technical, communication and business development teams, facilitate knowledge management and learning activities to support effective reporting of results and lessons learned, improved programmatic impact, and high-quality knowledge products.
  • Oversee the development of annual and ad-hoc reports for Global Affairs Canada, ensuring high quality reports are submitted on time that integrate gender equality and are in compliance with donor contracts.
